At Common Good Foods, we recognize
that as a discerning consumer you have many excellent choices when
it comes to the foods you purchase and enjoy. It is our hope and
goal to become among the very best of those choices. We have set out
to create a line of unique and exceptional foods that represent the
full circle of qualities we all seek, including quality nutrition,
sustainability, safety, good will and, of course, unsurpassed
flavor. |
| We
have chosen sources from among the
world’s most fascinating yet
impoverished regions where producers
have demonstrated their dedication
to responsible, sustainable farming
and high quality standards. Our goal
is to connect these farmers and
their excellent products with
discerning consumers, resulting
mutual benefit – the common good. |
| |
Furthermore, a portion of profits
from Common Good Food sales is used
to fund development efforts in and
around our partner countries. Thus,
we are using the markets to
supplement the charitable and
government sources of funding for
these NGO agencies. |

EXCELLENCE |
Every company, it seems, claims that their products are the best
tasting out there. We believe that our customers speak with their
pocketbooks and that our products must be truly original and
outstanding to earn your repeat business. We also believe that true
excellence encompasses more that just great taste and presentation.
Behind every product we sell is a story of hope and passion from
farmers and families in some of the world’s most magnificent and
enchanting locales who reflect that spirit in their dedication to
bring you some of the world’s most amazing and delicious foods. |
| |
ASSURANCE |
We don’t believe it’s enough to simply provide great tasting foods.
We do believe that they should also be produced responsibly and
safely, using organic and other responsibly produced ingredients, and, nutritionally sound, made
without refined sugars, unhealthy fats, artificial colors, flavors
or preservatives. |
| |
HOPE |
We also believe that genuine excellence must encompass the entire
creative process, beginning with the farmer. We utilize Fair Trade
certified products and ingredients wherever possible, and are
helping our partners who don’t currently posses the organizational
or financial resources to become certified to do so which will
enable them to reach the broadest possible global market.
Furthermore, your purchases help fund development efforts in these
partner countries by supporting indigenous NGO agencies dedicated to
responsible and caring local assistance in education, micro-finance,
health care and agriculture. |
